My idea is to make it so if and "if" (is a big word) people want to step up and do something they have the right to do so. But are not limited by their abilities so everyone can try.Beroken

You could make this exact same statement about Kieledar's current goal of most ESFs in a week and be just as correct. Squad leading effectively is a skill and requires a significant amount of practice to do properly. That's why Sergeant or Captain ranks don't come right after conscript in our ranking system.

Killing X amount limits it to a quest and if your give something away for that then your a quest giver..Beroken

Well, I guess that's certainly one way to look at it. Does 'quest giver' carry a negative connotation that I'm not aware of?

..there is no point to it for me to try when we have so many people good at different things.Beroken

And this is exactly the attitude that we're trying to eliminate by encouraging people to try new things. Getting people to try new things is exactly why I give up most of my Tuesday nights to run air practice.

I say as an Idea: come up with a tactic of your own in detail
it encourages a sense of group and everyone can chime in "if" they want toBeroken

Excellent, that's two ideas now. We've got two weeks of goals covered. What do you got for week three? As an observation: Both of these ideas are in the command/tactical area. You might get better participation from the membership by expanding the scope a bit and moving outside your own skill set.

Keep it coming. Two more ideas and we've got a whole month's worth of suggestions.

Looks like you've got some interest in this week's goal, after all!

Alright! It seems this weeks winner is Malachius, since he posted his kills on the forum.

Congratulations Malachius for being the first recipient of the Weekly Objectives badge and hopefully many will follow in your footsteps!

Also, thank you for everyone's input, I like a lot of the ideas. I'll be making a new weekly objective on Wednesday just before Ops starts so we can get going sooner on this weeks' weekly objective!

Could try for a bounty system on a opposing player or outfit but that can be inconsistent and could lead to issues in terms of COC if it got out of hand.

Could flip it into a positive by recognizing individual/groups who secure most territory in TXR's name.

Or just plain goofy like most Galaxy belly flops or stunt kill, revive etc, but of course that assumes people can record their gameplay and manage to capture it. I was watching how Talron hit BR 100, something like that would be cool to see.

I still want to see someone perfect the C4 kamikaze Mozzy into enemy armor

Should find that old video of Talron's where he C4's the enemy lib in mid air. Most aircraft C4'd in air would be a sick weekly objective.

And the anarchy would be fantastic. Just saying.
