This is the thread where you post those players that you recommend for the weekly objective award!
Also, anyone is able to recommend a player for this award if you believe they are worthy of such a commendation!
There will be a Badge award for being the winner of the weekly objective, so I look forward to some friendly competition going around.
WEEKLY OBJECTIVE: The person that can kill the most ESFs!
Everyone should be on the lookout and keeping their eyes upward as the enemy airforce descends upon you. Rip them from the skys and keep tally! You will win this week's WEEKLY OBJECTIVE TS badge.
Here's the deal folks, in case it wasn't laid out clearly. We're looking for ways to recognize more of you for the special things that you do. MVP is popular, but only one person wins it a week, they must be able to be at FNO, and it is for predictable things.
This badge is for people who deserve recognition but can't make FNO, don't always play medic, or don't drive galaxies.
If this format isn't working for you, give Kieledar some help. Right now, he's the only one running this and it is HARD to try to create these kinds of things. Cut him some slack and help him out.
What kinds of rewards would you like to see for these? What kinds of goals are interesting to you? How are you going to solve the issue of providing proof without making it something as mundane as 'add so many #'s to X stat?' We're working hard for you guys and this particular contest is supposed to be something else fun for you guys. If it's not there yet, help Kieledar get it there. Posting negative comments or rattling pitch-forks isn't going to improve anything.

"Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist that black flag, and begin slitting throats."
We are always in need of leaders squad and platoon alike why not focus around that topic.
an idea: for a week try leading a squad or platoon then post your awesome story about it. vote who wins make it an outfit thing bring everyone into it.
or: try leading wile an officer is on as to better help "training wheels" per say top 5 get voted on by the outfit if they want to stand up…

Good idea and a great place to start. Here are my thoughts:
1. We already have a system to encourage and recognize squad leaders with our current rank structure. Sergeant is for people who squad lead and captain is for people who platoon lead. We also currently run at least two major ops a week where the guys who you might think need "training wheels" have access to several officers to help with communication and organization.
2. What about all the people who don't want to fly, as you put it earlier? Or rather, squad lead in this case. Kieledar had a good idea to rotate the focus every week to get maximum coverage of the varied interests of the group. Do you feel a single focus is the way to go or would you agree that a rotating weekly goal might better serve the aims of the initiative?
Since the goal of this is to provide recognition and incentives for people to do things we don't already recognize regularly, what other ideas might you suggest?

Going to start taking screenshots after each ESF kill, make an imgur album. Kind of a clunky way to do it but it should make for an entertaining album at least.
My idea is to make it so if and "if" (is a big word) people want to step up and do something they have the right to do so. But are not limited by their abilities so everyone can try.
Killing X amount limits it to a quest and if your give something away for that then your a quest giver… there is no point to it for me to try when we have so many people good at different things.
I say as an Idea: come up with a tactic of your own in detail it encourages a sense of group and everyone can chime in "if" they want to
