I want to learn to fly a liberator well. I need to practice.

In order to practice, I need gunners. Not just a random crew every once and while - I am looking for one or two people (I'd love two) who want to gun for me exclusively and regularly. Coming from a fighter, I'm going to have a very hard time *just* flying. In fact, that's my biggest failing as a lib pilot right now - I think like a fighter. I need to find some guys I can develop a working relationship with and can learn to trust so that I can focus only on flying.

I want two guys (or gals) who meet the following criteria:

- Relatively patient; we're going to lose libs. A lot of libs. I will not only be learning a new skill, but fighting long-established instincts of a fighter pilot. You don't need to be Mother Teresa, but you're gonna get frustrated with me as I learn.
- Plays regularly; I need someone who will be around when I've got time away from leading events or participating on the comp team to practice. If you're only on once every 2 weeks, we're going to have a long road ahead of us.
- Access to a certed lib, or willing to cert out a lib; we are going to lose libs. Libs are expensive. The ability to cost-share is a must so we can stay in the air.

Since I'll be learning a new skill, I don't care if you aren't the best gunner in the world, you can practice right along with me. I just need to do it regularly and with the same two people.

I'm not looking to learn the lib so we can farm infantry. I can do that already. I want to learn to fly a shredder lib. The [BAID] 3-man shredder/drake lib is terrifically effective solo and nearly unbeatable with an escort. I want to be able to put up a TxR lib that can do as well or better because I think TxR players can be as good or better than anyone else on our server.

Something to know about me before you strap in:
I'm much more likely to hang in a fight and go down swinging than I am to turn and run. This is largely due to two things: 1. I'm a very aggressive player. 2. I know my Boelke's dicta - it's almost always better to finish a fight than go full defensive and try to run. If you're interested in gunning for me, be prepared for us to hunt aggressively and stick in a fight, even damaged. While I do have relatively few hours in the liberator, I have a lot of experience in the air and I've fought a lot of libs over the last year and half, so I'm pretty familiar with what they are capable of doing even if I haven't practiced doing it myself. You keep firing, I'll keep flying, and we'll see what happens.

Of course, see the previously mentioned stuff about patience and expect to die in a spectacular or even stupid fashion - trying to fly at the edge sometimes means falling off the end.

Do you even have to ask? Count me in. Coincidentally, I think I'm about as good at flying a lib as I'll get without more time gunning and have been looking to remedy that.

Hey all, first post for me. Just wanted to let you guys know that I am a lib pilot myself, though a tad rusty because I took several months off. My current TR lib is pretty basic atm but I'm getting points into it now. Got all belly guns and I generally equip the launcher in the tail. I believe my best gun is currently the zepher with thermal.
Usually Badluckshadow is my gunner but if you guys catch me on alone and you want to lib it up just ask and I'll pull the little lady out. I'm pretty good with going toe to toe with fighters.

Dietrich. I'm down to gun anytime I'm online. It gives me something to do other than focus on auraxiuming old weapons.
